Two teachers from our school, Nam Inchon SLP, were vacationing in Thailand. We've heard from one; her hotel was on high ground so she's okay. The other, Dave Condie, we've not heard from, but then he wasn't close friends with any of us and we don't have his email. I'm hoping that somebody sees this and lets him know to contact ANY of us at the school. We're trying to tell ourselves he was there to golf, not swim, so he's probably okay, but you can't help but worry.

I know someone who the last I heard was teaching in Phuket.I've haven't heard from him -sent him an email,no response and checked the various boards. If you could put him on your missing person list ,I'd appreciate it. His name's David Robinson (from England).

Both our teachers, Dave and Lisa, are safe and sound! Dave was far from the waves. Lisa was on the beach and ran for her life, and some Thai folks pulled her into the back of a moving pickup truck and took her to safety.

Please could anyone tell me if they have heard from Melanie Borkowski from England, who had just finished an English Teacher Traning course in Koh Samui on the 13 December.

She was looking for a teaching post in Patong, Phuket when the terrible disaster happened. She has long light brown hair and is about 5ft 5" and had just bought a new puppy in patong as she was about to settle down there.

I would be grateful if anyone who might know her could email me.

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who has either lost a loved one or who have been injured in the Tsunami tradegy.

I'm an old friend of mel's from coventry & have always kept in contact with her. im not sure if you've had contact with her since the tsunami but i had an emailo from her the day after it had happened and have heard from her once since around march time. however i have not heard from her since and have just had an email returned form her melcyberbabe@hotmail account.
